Crafted under the expert guidance of Mr. Ken Usami, Shinobu Distillery’s master blender, this distinguished whisky undergoes more than 15 years of aging in Sherry and Bourbon casks, followed by a meticulous finishing period of 6 months in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels. It represents a commitment to natural purity and exceptional quality characterized for the region of Niigata and its “3 white treasures” – snow, rice and sake. Shin 15 YO has aromas of dark berry fruits balanced with cinnamon, a robust palate of sandalwood and intricate spice layers, and a long-lasting finish harmonizing spices, refreshing citrus notes, and oak essence.
